Welcome to the Forest and Wildlife Conservation Society (FWCS)

FWCS, the brainchild of Krishna Tiwari, was established in 2012/13 with the aim of conserving nature as the basis for restoration of ecological balance, sustainable management of natural resources (specifically forests & wildlife habitats), and the promotion of sustainable and equitable development.

With a specific focus on Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) in Mumbai, and its iconic leopard population, FWCS is determined to work with local communities to ensure the protection and integrity of this vital green space and the threatened species that call it home.

Join us on a trek or come plant trees with us! Check out our activities and please get involved in admiring and conserving our magnificent natural world!
